Adobe Photoshop is central to almost all photography workflows today. Each new version is a milestone in the development of this imaging behemoth, and 2010's release is no exception.
Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom Photographers often feel overwhelmed when starting with Photoshop; the sheer number of tools and options make it difficult for the novice. There is no shortage of instructional books, yet very few direct the user to the most significant aspects of the program in a way that reflects a real workflow.
If you haven't tried it, you have no idea how much time and sweat-equity is invested in photo enhancements and photo manipulations. These samples represent a broad spectrum of talent from around the world in the photo enhancement realm. Most of these utilized Adobe Photoshop with add-in graphics and effects from Adobe Illustrator. Some used Painter or other image editing and retouching software. But one thing they all have in common is the amount of time and labor each image represents -- and the fact that these artisans represent the epitome of visual story telling.
The new O.S. Windows 7 has improved aesthetics to make the user interface at least more appealing. There are huge ultra detailed icons for folders, devices and so on. This time we will use Illustrator CS4 to create a nice briefcase with the Windows 7 style. You need only a few basics on how to copy, paste, rotate, scale and color the shapes.
